What's Happening!?

This week we are very busy! We have Art class with Mrs. Shelton on Tuesday, Counseling with Mrs. Carr on Wednesday, Music with Mrs. Reasons on Friday, and Library on Friday with Mrs. Long! Whew! We are rockin' and rollin'!

Reading: This week we are reading Fix-It Duck by Jez Alborough. Our concept question for the week is: How do people help each other? We will continue our practice with the sight words I and am. Our AMAZING WORDS for this week are: repair, leak, steep, ladder, puddles, and shed.

Math: This week in math we will be concluding our chapter on sorting and classifying. We will be starting a new chapter on patterns later in the week. On Tuesday night children will be bringing home a math storybook called Party Colors and Shapes. This is a homework assignment for the children.

Please remember to visit www.pearsonsuccessnet.com for additional reading materials. These materials go along with our reading series and cover the words and sounds we are learning in the classroom.

We hope you have a great week!!
